A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. We are looking for a highly motivated researcher to work on projects focused on testing new host-targeted drug leads against multi-drug resistant pathogens, and determining their modes of action. We are particularly interested in a candidate with experience in conducting in vivo infection experiments, mucosal immunology, cell-signaling, large data analysis, and molecular biology.

Preferred Work Experience

The preferred research areas of bacterial virulence, genomics, antibiotic resistance, microbiome, host-pathogen interaction, experience working with animal models. Experience working in BSL-3/ABSL-3 is highly desirable.
