Min Qualifications

Applicants must have a Master's degree in a health-related field or equivalent. Additional minimum qualifications include 5 years experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and hold a national laboratory certification as a MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP).

Salary Range

$84,000 - $86,000

Specific Job Related Duties

1) Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures and labs) to on-campus and distance students. = 70% 2) Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids for on campus and distance web-based courses, grade student papers, and assist in coordinating clinical rotations.. = 15% 3) Advise students (both on-campus and distance) on academic, clinical and research activities. = 5% 4) Participate in scholarly, professional, and administrative service activities. = 10%

Preferred Education

Doctoral degree in a health-related field or equivalent.

Preferred Skill/Competency

Experience in providing laboratory test interpretation and recommendation.

Preferred Work Experience

5 years experience teaching in a Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent. Online teaching experience.
