Min Qualifications

Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field. Scientific research experience.

Job Description:

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position.

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience

Specific Job Related Duties

Postdoc will perform experiments with nucleic acids, nucleotides, phosphoramidites and oligonucleotides. Characterization will include 32P-end labeling and gel electrophoresis.

Samples will be prepared for laboratory analysis, sequencing and next-generation DNA sequencing.

Preferred Education

Doctorate in Chemistry or related field

Preferred Skill/Competency

The ideal candidate will have experience with completing multi-step experiments, rigorous evaluation of the literature, and preparation of reports in a form sufficient for submission for publication.
